A Heartfelt Thank You: Appreciation Barbecue for Disabled Citizens’ Society

Recently Konnect Fastening Systems had the pleasure of hosting an appreciation barbecue to recognize one of our most valued partners — the incredible team at the Disabled Citizens' Society.

For years, members of the Society have played an important role in assembling our roofing fasteners. Their dedication, consistency, and attention to detail help ensure Konnect Fastening Systems’ high standards. We are proud that our partnership goes beyond business, it’s built on respect, shared purpose, and community support.

Celebrating the People Behind the Work

The barbecue was our way of saying a simple but heartfelt “thank you.”

It was a day filled with great food and laughter. Neil Lilley, Craig Sharpe, Mike Wansink and Hayden Landers from Konnect Fastening Systems had the opportunity to host a barbecue for the individuals whose hard work contributes directly to our success. This barbecue allowed us to celebrate their contributions in a meaningful way.

A Partnership That Matters

The Disabled Citizens Society (Inc) is a non-profit organisation that provides support in many areas for those with or looking after someone with disabilities. Life skills, a link to the community, supportive employment, social interaction and more. Many of their members have made life-long friends at the DCS, and the change that they see in the lives of others is what keeps the team at the DCS striving to do more.
